This morning I should be packing

When I signed on to twitter this morning I sow on the right side of the screen a column that read, "Recently listed in" and underneath it, people in Los Angeles. I clicked "People in Los Angeles". Apparently this is a "public list curated by" someone who works at Skylight (a great bookstore in my hood.) I don't understand why I hesitated to put her name, it's right there on twitter. Anyway.... her profile led me to her blog...

I have to say I've spent a fair bit of time this morning looking at it and I really am enjoying it.

She also links to Contrariwise: Literary Tattoos talk about time suckers!

Hi Dirty Ballerina,

I have been reading through your blog posts… as you leap from one different story to another, it feels like listening to a friend who’s narrating different tales and it has that certain relaxing feeling of familiarity.

Keep weaving your stories because your personality seeps in between the lines and it has a refreshing tone to it, unpretentious and forthright.

Good luck with your 30 days of Blogging about not blogging… I’m totally digging the ‘learning to keep up with deadlines’. You have my support there!

Btw, if you don’t mind me asking, are you Clementine Ford a.k.a. Molly Kroll of L-word? Just curious… hope you can answer :) :)

Sending you miles and miles of wishes and blessings,

PS:
I hate being back at ‘square one’ as well, it sucks big time! But I guess there is a reason why we have to keep going back to the drawing board from time to time…

My blog, http://behindmyscenes-np.blogspot.com :) :)

Oh wow, you're back! Yippee!!

Time suckers indeed. Hey, you could be writing your book and uh, I could be explaining to my parents that my roommate is also my girlfriend. But I figure I have another month to make good on my 2010 resolution.

You don't know me from a can of paint, but your writing moves me. Whether here or on twitter; you're just awesome Ms.Ford. I hope to one day possess the strength that you seem to so calmly exhibit.

"Inch by Inch. Moment to moment. Breathe." Thanks for those words. I say them everyday. Maybe they'll become my literary tattoo. :)
